Installation of piers for construction next to an existing building. Foundations were being drilled less than 12 inches from the existing building without disturbing the building or damaging any of the existing foundation.
Installation of the continuously grouted steel core pile foundation only a few feet away from a refinery tank. The customer needed a way to install foundations in a highly sensitive area without any risk to the expensive refinery equipment while keeping everyone in the job site safe. The GFS Pier System satisfied all requirements.
APPLICATIONS

It can be used in a large variety of ways such as retaining wall tie backs, soil stabilization, foundation support, marine anchors, etc. Other aspects like anchoring to deep rock or draining saturated soils. All these great qualities and it can be installed with a mutitude of different equipment from large drilling rigs, to small excavators and skidsteers even with a forklift. The Installation procedures used to install the TURBO PILETM does not create excess noise or vibration. This allows us to work in very sensitive areas with minimal impact on surrounding structures
