All sections are custom made to the length requested by the engineers, installers or contractors. All sections are bolted together with a 1” grade 5 bolt or greater. Special orders can be made to weld sections together, instead of bolting. This would allow for the installation of up to 1 1/2” steel rebar down through the center of 3 ½” steel shaft which increases the overall structural strength of the foundation product.
The GFS continuously grouted steel core pile can also be used in and around existing foundations, structures and hard to access areas. With very little disturbance to the outside work area and thus reducing the risk of damage to any nearby and surrounding structures already in place.

Grouted Foundation Systems technology is ideal for large scale commercial applications of design build construction. We offer a high capacity Micropile (Micropier) system that is cost effective and also quickly installed. The installation method is similar to a helical pier. The speed of the pier is slowed down in the range of 10-12 rpm’s during installation, and torque is monitored only for verifying soil conditions during installation.
